How you can play a part

As the Retail Operations Manager, you will lead the end-to-end retail operations of the Brisbane Broncos, delivering exceptional fan experiences across our store, eCommerce platform, game days and major events.

You will take ownership of retail execution across all channels, with a strong focus on inventory performance, stock flow, warehouse management and product availability. Working closely with merchandising, you will play a key role in product allocation, assortment planning and ensuring the right product is in the right place at the right time.

This role combines operational leadership with commercial awareness, driving efficient processes, optimising stock performance and leading a high-performing retail team.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Oversee daily retail operations across store, eCommerce, game day and events, ensuring a consistent and exceptional customer experience
  • Manage end-to-end warehouse and stockroom operations, driving efficient layout, workflows, safety compliance and continuous improvement
  • Lead inventory management including stock receipt, storage, replenishment and stock movement across all channels
  • Plan and deliver stocktakes, including cycle counts, spot checks and accurate stock reporting
  • Support assortment planning and range execution in collaboration with merchandising teams
  • Contribute to new product ideation and merchandise range development aligned to fan trends and commercial opportunities
  • Manage Australia Post and shipping requirements to ensure efficient and timely fulfilment
  • Support online product setup, website updates and digital merchandising
  • Supervise and coach retail merchandise staff, including casual rostering
  • Deliver training, team development and operational excellence initiatives
  • Maintain back-of-house organisation and uphold stockroom safety standards

To be considered

To be considered for this opportunity you will have

  • Proven experience in retail operations management (multi-channel desirable)
  • Strong expertise in inventory control, stocktakes and merchandise reporting
  • Experience in eCommerce operations and online product management
  • Demonstrated leadership and coaching capability
  • Strong organisational skills in a fast paced environment
  • A commitment to safety, process improvement and customer experience
  • Experience in product allocation, assortment planning or exposure to retail buying highly regarded
  • Experience using Shopify and working in sporting and event environments will be highly regarded
