Team Leader Programs:

We are looking for a Team Leader to join the Housing Programs team for a period of 6-months commencing this July. The Team Leader plays a key role in leading a Housing team to deliver high-quality, client-focused tenancy services across a defined portfolio. Working closely with the Regional Manager, you will drive service delivery, financial performance and compliance outcomes, while building strong stakeholder relationships and supporting sustainable tenancies.

This role also provides day-to-day leadership, coaching and guidance to frontline staff, fostering a safe, inclusive and resilient team culture in a complex and emotionally demanding environment. You will support staff to navigate challenging client interactions, build capability, and maintain a strong focus on tenant outcomes and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead and support the Housing team to deliver consistent, high-quality tenancy services aligned with the Customer Service Charter
  • Drive team performance through effective workload management, coaching and performance development
  • Manage tenant outcomes, including complaints and appeals, to timely and effective resolution
  • Oversee financial performance across the portfolio, including rent, arrears, vacancies and debt
  • Ensure effective housing management practices, including inspections and maintenance reporting
  • Maintain compliance with legislation, policy and accurate system data and reporting
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support sustainable tenancies
  • Support business planning, projects and growth initiatives through data, insights and reporting
  • Promote team wellbeing, resilience and a positive, values-driven culture
  • Represent Bridge Housing through stakeholder engagement and sector participation
