About the Role

Boss Energy is seeking an experienced Wireline Logging professional to join our growing team at the Honeymoon Project for a 12-month Maximum Term Contract. This role is critical to the safe and accurate acquisition of downhole data that informs geological, hydrogeological and production decisions across the full lifecycle of a well.

Working closely with exploration, geology, wellfields, environmental and radiation teams, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality wireline logging data while maintaining strong safety, compliance and data integrity standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain a high standard of safety performance and compliance with environmental and radiation regulations
  • Participate in daily pre-start meetings, toolbox talks and risk assessments
  • Conduct all wireline logging activities to Boss Energy and industry standards
  • Ensure correct downhole tool configuration, calibration and operation
  • Acquire high-quality downhole data and monitor real-time data integrity
  • Validate log quality prior to distribution to internal stakeholders
  • Troubleshoot logging tool issues and coordinate maintenance activities
  • Work closely with the Logging Supervisor, geology team and drilling contractors
  • Maintain accurate records, QA/QC standards and data integrity in collaboration with the Database Geologist
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across logging operations

The role will be offered as FIFO from Adelaide (only), direct to site on a 2:1 roster. We will also consider DIDO from Broken Hill.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring strong technical expertise, a proactive safety mindset and the ability to work effectively in a dynamic site-based environment.

Essential requirements:

  • Valid Australian working rights
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in downhole wireline logging
  • Experience operating multi-tool downhole logging equipment
  • Demonstrated experience supervising small to medium-sized teams
  • Strong computer literacy, including MS Office, WellCAD and GV logging software
  • Current Medium Rigid (MR) driver’s licence
  • Senior First Aid certification
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment medical & national police check
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Uranium or ISR mining experience
  • Defensive 4WD certification
  • Experience driving logging vehicles in remote or mine site environments
