Description

About the role Boss Energy is seeking an experienced Site Services Superintendent to lead critical site support functions at our Honeymoon Mine Site in South Australia. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee administration, travel and mobilization, mine village operations, and warehousing/logistics services ensuring safe, reliable and cost-effective delivery through a combination of internal teams and third-party providers.

 

Roster & FIFO The role is offered as a 4/3 roster FIFO from Adelaide (only) or DIDO from Broken Hill.

 

Key responsibilities & activities include:

  • Travel and logistics management: Own end-to-end travel/transport for site personnel, including rosters and accommodation coordination.
  • Manage the Adelaide – Honeymoon air charter logistics and providers, ensuring compliance, service quality and cost control.
  • Mine village operations: lead village service delivery across catering, cleaning and accommodation standards.
  • Hold all contractors accountable to safety, contract KPIs and continuous improvement.
  • Warehousing & logistics: run warehouse operations to keep critical stock available and inventory accurate.
  • Coordinate freight to/from site to maintain efficient supply flow and reliable reporting.
  • Oversee road and land access management for Honeymoon including maintenance of key Government stakeholders
  • Other: support site priorities and improvement projects as directed by the General Manager.

 

What you’ll need

  • Valid working rights in Australia
  • Ability to pass pre-employment medical & national police check
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills
  • Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in providing support services within the mining industry
  • Administration Management qualification (highly regarded)
  • Strong experience coordinating travel, accommodation, logistics and warehousing
  • Proven ability to manage service providers and contracts, and resolve operational challenges
  • Competency with Microsoft Office and logistics/travel management systems
  • Current Driver’s Licence
