Warehouse Storeperson

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Warehouse Storeperson to join our team in our Timber Yard. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining a clean and organized warehouse. The Warehouse Storeperson will work closely with other team members to ensure that all products are properly stored and ready for shipment.

Responsibilities:

• Receive and process incoming shipments
• Manage inventory and ensure that all products are properly stored
• Pick and pack orders for shipment
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks
• Perform regular inventory checks and report any discrepancies
• Communicate with other team members to ensure that all orders are fulfilled on time
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time
