Your role:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse tasks (receivals, dispatch, pick/pack)

• Lead a small team and keep things running smoothly

• Report directly to the owner

You’ll need:

• Warehousing experience (timber background a BIG plus)

• Common sense, reliability, and a good work ethic

• Forklift licence preferred

• Full-time availability

We’re a timber business, so anyone with experience in pack sizes, lengths, and timber handling will hit the ground running.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of warehouse workers, ensuring the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise a team of warehouse workers, including hiring, training, and scheduling
Ensure the efficient and timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods
Monitor inventory levels and ensure accurate record-keeping
Maintain a safe and organized work environment, including enforcing safety procedures and conducting regular safety inspections
Implement and maintain warehouse policies and procedures
Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of goods and resolve any issues that arise
Continuously improve warehouse operations by identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions
Manage and maintain warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field preferred
Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field
Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people
Proficient in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software
Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
