We are proudly family owned and operate our Head Office from our home in Hobart, Tasmania. Our products are designed in Hobart, we use the best resources available from all over the world to develop footwear that keeps pushing the boundaries – from the iconic elastic-sided boots loved worldwide to gumboots, lace-up safety footwear for men and women, heavy industrial footwear and casual boots.

The Role
Based at our Moonah Head Office and reporting into our Manufacturing Accreditations & Compliance Manager, the Manufacturing Accreditations Assistant will be working as part of a small but established team, to help maintain and improve the processes that underpin our ethical, social and environmental commitments.
The requirements of this role are delivered on by playing a critical part in the day to day today delivery of the Every Step Better (ESB) program by working closely with internal teams and external partners to support consistent, practical compliance outcomes that align with Blundstone’s values and global operations to help guide our decisions and actions across our global value chain — from how we work with our suppliers to how we manage risk, compliance, and continuous improvement.
The successful applicant will also play a key role in supporting Blundstone’s broader compliance and accreditation programs by playing a hands-on role in managing supplier compliance data and third-party platforms, supporting audits, executing corrective actions and their associated reporting, assisting with the management of our product Chemical Compliance program and helping ensure our systems remain robust as regulatory expectations continue to evolve.
Domestic and international travel will form part of this role, and the successful applicant must have no limitations on being able to enter countries outside of Australia.
About You
You’re a capable communicator who can work effectively with internal teams and with external partners. You’re comfortable working within structured compliance frameworks and able to manage your own workload. You take a considered, professional approach and can balance regulatory, technical and commercial requirements.
You’ll have a strong interest in sustainability and compliance across a global supply chain, including governance, labour standards, environmental requirements and product stewardship. You’re detail-oriented, confident documenting and reviewing compliance information, and familiar with standards, regulatory obligations and certification processes relevant to manufacturing and sourcing. You apply sound judgement to support compliance outcomes and continuously improve systems and processes.
