The Role 

We are seeking a Data Developer to support the development, enhancement, and ongoing delivery of reporting and analytics solutions across the business. 

Based at our Head Office in Moonah, this temporary role plays a key part in ensuring continuity of reporting and analytics service.

Working under the technical direction and governance of the Application Development and Data Lead, you will deliver high-quality data products, maintain and enhance existing reports, and provide responsive support to business users.

This is a 12-month contract role, with the potential for extension.

What You’ll Be Doing 

• Developing, maintaining, and enhancing business reports, dashboards, and data models using Power BI, SQL, and related tools  

• Building and supporting reliable data pipelines and transformations to enable accurate reporting and analytics  

• Translating business reporting needs into clear, practical technical solutions  

• Providing second-level support for reporting and analytics platforms, including troubleshooting and optimisation  

• Supporting data quality, governance, and documentation in line with enterprise standards  

• Working closely with business users to enable effective use of reporting tools and promote data literacy  

What You’ll Bring 

• Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, and DAX 

• Experience in data modelling, data visualisation, and metadata management 

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and compliance frameworks 

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills 

• Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively across multiple tasks 

• Clear communication skills, with the ability to support and guide business users 

• Experience with database systems (e.g. Microsoft SQL Server, Azure Data Lake) and data integration tools (e.g. SSIS, Azure Data Factory) is desirable 

• High attention to detail and the ability to work independently or collaboratively
