About the role

This role applies Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve efficiency, quality, customer outcomes, and risk controls. The position focuses on delivering well‑defined improvement initiatives and embedding sustainable process improvements into day‑to‑day operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and deliver process improvement initiatives using Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Analyse current‑state processes to identify inefficiencies, waste, variation, and control gaps.
  • Identify opportunities to uplift processes through automation, workflow optimisation and AI-enabled solutions (e.g. document handling, exception management).
  • Assist in the design and implementation of process improvements that improve turnaround times, quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Ensure process changes are documented and handed over effectively to operational teams.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma tools consistently and in line with agreed standards.
  • Work with operational teams, subject matter experts, and support functions to deliver agreed improvement activities.
  • Collect, analyse, and interpret process performance data to support problem identification and solution design.
  • Develop clear problem statements and contribute to business cases for improvement.
  • Track and report on improvement outcomes and benefits under guidance.

 

About You

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in process analysis and operational improvement, ideally within a service-based or regulated environment where accuracy, compliance, and consistency are critical. A Six Sigma Black Belt certification is essential, along with demonstrated experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to real-world business challenges.

You will be comfortable working across cross-functional operational teams, collaborating with stakeholders to understand current processes, identify inefficiencies, and implement practical improvements. With strong process mapping and analytical capabilities, you’ll approach challenges with a structured, methodical mindset and use data confidently to interpret performance metrics and guide decision-making.

  • Experience working in process analysis, operational improvement, or a similar role within a service‑based or regulated environment.
  • Six Sigma Black Belt certification (mandatory).
  • Practical experience applying Lean Six Sigma tools to real‑world processes.
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Structured problem‑solving capability
  • Ability to work with data and interpret performance metrics
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline
