We’re proud to be partnering with The Salvation Army to recruit a Tenancy Manager to join their dedicated and compassionate team.

This is an initial temporary assignment, with a potential pathway to a permanent position for the right person.

About the Role

As a Tenancy Manager, you’ll be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of transitional and long-term properties, working closely with tenants to support sustainable tenancies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing a portfolio of properties including leases, inspections and rent reviews
  • Maintaining accurate tenancy records and data
  • Managing arrears, complaints and tenancy issues in line with policy and legislation
  • Supporting tenants with complex needs through a compassionate, person-centred approach
  • Responding to high-risk situations and working within required timeframes
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders

About You

You’ll bring a balance of tenancy management expertise and genuine care for people, with the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and empathy.

We’re looking for:

  • Experience in community housing, tenancy or property management
  • Sound knowledge of tenancy practices (RTA knowledge highly regarded)
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage competing priorities
  • A calm, resilient approach with strong problem-solving capability
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to build positive relationships
  • Relevant qualifications or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • Current Driver’s Licence
  • National Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
