We’re proud to be partnering with MLAHMC, the largest Aboriginal housing management organisation in NSW, to invite expressions of interest from talented tenancy professionals for their team based in Dubbo.
Depending on your experience level, successful candidates will be matched to an appropriate position within the team – from hands-on tenancy officers through to senior operational and leadership positions.
The Opportunity
This team sits at the centre of housing operations, supporting the delivery of safe, stable, and well-managed housing across a diverse portfolio.
Across the team, you may be involved in coordinating tenancy processes, supporting field-based staff, managing inspections and compliance requirements, or leading more complex operational and tribunal-related work.
The team work closely together to ensure all tenancy activity is accurate, timely, and compliant – with strong connections between systems, people, and on-the-ground service delivery.
Some responsibilities include but may not be limited to:
- Supporting or leading tenancy operations and field-based activity
- Coordinating or scheduling inspections, entry/exit reports, and tenant visits
- Managing or supporting NCAT/tribunal processes, including preparation of documentation and attendance where required
- Maintaining accurate tenancy records within systems such as Chintaro
- Monitoring rent, arrears, and tenancy performance
- Tracking and following up on tenancy actions and compliance requirements
- Acting as a point of contact for tenancy issues and escalations (more senior roles)
- Leading, mentoring, or supporting team members (senior roles)
- Ensuring compliance with the Residential Tenancies Act (NSW) and organisational policies
About You
We are open to expressions of interest from a range of experience levels across tenancy and housing services. You may be someone who has:
- Experience in social or community housing, property management, or tenancy services
- Exposure to or experience with NCAT or tribunal processes (advantageous and required for senior roles)
- Experience using tenancy systems such as Chintaro or similar
- A solid understanding of tenancy legislation and compliance requirements
- Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- A practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail
- The ability to work confidently with tenants, colleagues, and external stakeholders
Senior applicants will also bring leadership experience, team coordination, and responsibility for operational performance.
