The Opportunity
Based at our Bellevue, WA site, the Warehouse Manager is responsible for leading all warehouse operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, inventory control, storage optimisation and team leadership.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role accountable for safety, service, accuracy and performance across the warehouse function. You will oversee receiving, storage, picking, dispatch and stock integrity, while ensuring compliance with WHS and Chain of Responsibility obligations. The role works closely with transport, sales and operations teams to ensure seamless supply chain execution and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:
- Lead and supervise daily warehouse operations, including receivables, storage, picking and dispatch
- Drive a strong safety culture aligned with WHS and Chain of Responsibility requirements
- Manage warehouse staff performance, rostering, training and capability uplift
- Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, stock control processes and system integrity
- Oversee load planning, staging and dispatch readiness to meet delivery timeframes
- Coordinate with transport providers and internal stakeholders to resolve operational issues
- Monitor warehouse KPIs including DIFOT, stock accuracy, damage rates and productivity
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, safety and customer outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting across warehouse and dispatch functions
About You
You will bring:
- Proven leadership experience in warehouse or distribution operations, ideally within building materials, manufacturing or construction supply
- Strong working knowledge of warehouse systems, stock control and operational reporting
- Demonstrated understanding of WHS obligations and Chain of Responsibility compliance
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced operational environment
- Strong planning, organisational and problem-solving capability
- High attention to detail with a service and performance mindset
- Forklift licence essential
- MR or HR licence highly advantageous (or willingness to obtain)
