The Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Truss & Frame Estimator / Detailer to join our team in Dry Creek. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in producing accurate work, and wants to be part of a supportive and successful team.
In this position, you will play an important role in supporting our prefab operations through accurate estimating and detailing of roof truss and frame projects. We are looking for someone with relevant industry experience who can work collaboratively with the wider team and contribute to delivering quality outcomes for our customers.
What you will be doing
- Preparing accurate estimates and detailed designs for truss and frame projects
- Interpreting building plans, specifications, and job requirements
- Liaising with internal teams, customers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are clearly understood
- Ensuring all detailing and estimating work is completed accurately and within required timeframes
- Supporting the efficient flow of work through the prefab operation
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies or issues in plans and documentation where required
- Maintaining a high level of attention to detail to support quality and customer satisfaction
- Working collaboratively with the broader team to achieve business and customer outcomes
- Following company procedures, policies, and work instructions at all times
- Contributing to a safe working environment and complying with workplace health and safety requirements
What you’ll bring
- Previous experience in a truss and frame estimating/detailing role
- A minimum of 2 years’ relevant experience
- Experience in framing and truss is highly regarded
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- A friendly, reliable, and professional approach
- The ability to follow company policies, procedures, and work instructions
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
