The Opportunity

We are seeking an HR Truck Driver to join our team. This role plays a crucial role in ensuring the timely and safe transportation of goods across various locations. This position is essential for maintaining the efficiency of our logistics operations, contributing to the overall success of the business. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and customer service, ensuring that all deliveries are executed in a timely manner with professionalism and care.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy goods vehicles in compliance with road safety regulations and company policies.
  • Transport goods to designated locations in a timely manner, ensuring all deliveries are completed as scheduled.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members to coordinate logistics and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, ensuring the safety of oneself and others on the road.

What you’ll need:

  • HR licence
  • Customer service experience
  • Experience operating HR/MR trucks
  • Previous warehouse experience 
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Be committed to following all safety protocols
  • Be able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer and administration skills 
  • Suitable relevant work references
