The Role
Are you an adventurous, strategic & creative Social Media Manager who would love to build organic social channels that ‘shift the way people experience life’? Well, you’re in luck.
We are looking for an experienced Social Media Manager to develop and deliver impactful organic social media strategy, including management of ambassadors & influencers.
Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for delivering an exciting, aspirational approach to the brand social channels across existing and emerging platforms. You will be a hands-on expert in TikTok and Instagram, with proven expertise in delivering strong channel growth to drive real brand & business outcomes.
This role will be responsible for bringing our brand & experiences to life through organic social media channels, driving organic follower growth, organic reach, and running successful social partnerships. It will also be responsible for setting up our ambassador & influencer program and managing this ongoing.
This role will focus on the RedBalloon brand, with potential for a multi-brand remit.
Core Activities
- Organic Social Content Strategy: Take full ownership of the organic social strategy across Instagram, TikTok & Facebook. This includes planning always-on content, spotting trends early, shaping the social creative direction, and ensuring the content supports brand & campaign priorities.
- Content Creation: Be hands-on with content creation. Shoot, edit and publish engaging content that stops thumbs and creates interest. Think clever hooks, quick edits, storytelling & platform-native thinking.
- The Organic Face of the Brand: Bring the brand to life by being the on-camera & behind-camera personality of our organic channels. Build rapport with our audience, nurture conversations, show up consistently, and grow the community in a way that feels human, warm and distinctly us.
- Influencer Program Management: Identify, nurture and collaborate with creators and ambassadors who naturally fit our brand. From briefing to content review to relationship building, you’ll ensure partnerships feel authentic, high-quality and aligned with our organic social direction
- Community Management: Engage with our audience in comments. & DMs to keep RedBalloon active & engaged across all social community touchpoints.
- Social Partnerships: Build and maintain strategic partnerships with like-minded brands, communities, and social-first initiatives. This includes spotting co-collaboration opportunities, coordinating campaigns, and leveraging cross-promotional tactics to extend our reach while staying true to our brand voice.
- Reporting: Clear business reporting on social media performance and upcoming activity, delivering insights and content to the wider team to use across all platforms.
Experience Required
- You live and breathe social media. You are chronically online and are always curious about trends and platform culture.
- Proven experience balancing creativity with strategy to deliver meaningful content, with a mix of planned and experimental content.
- 3+ years in Social Media with proven experience building community
- Excellent visual storytelling skills, with a focus on creating engaging & shareable content
