About You

You are a Registered Nurse who:

  • Is able and willing to travel. This role will involve occasional relief and travel to Blackwater and Mount Morgan.
  • Has experience in chronic disease management and care planning
  • Believes strongly in preventative health, education, and health promotion
  • Is committed to providing culturally safe care and building trusted community relationships
  • Communicates effectively and enjoys working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Essential Requirements

  • Nursing Degree or relevant medical tertiary qualifications
  • Current APHRA Registration
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Minimum 3 years’ clinical experience (primary health care or chronic disease management preferred)
  • Understanding of, and respect for, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures and health practices
