Bidgerdii Community Health Services is an Aboriginal
and Torres Strait Islander community controlled primary health care service,
operating in the Rockhampton and wider Central Queensland region for more than
30 years and our vision is for Healthy and Strong Aboriginal and Torres Strait
Islander, children, families and communities – self – determining, culturally
strong, and thriving in their own way. Bidgerdii provides comprehensive primary
healthcare and wellbeing services, collaborates with partner agencies for
integrated continuity of care and advocates for health policy and health system
reform. Our services include general practice bulk-billing clinics, social and
emotional wellbeing and generalist counselling services, chronic disease
management, preventative health screening, children and family health and early
childhood education services.

About You
You are a compassionate GP who enjoys building long-term relationships
with patients and providing holistic, team-based care.
Ideally you will have:
- Bachelor of Medicine,
Bachelor of Surgery or equivalent (MBBS)
- Vocational Registration
(FRACGP or FACRRM)
- Unconditional AHPRA
registration
- A commitment to
culturally safe, patient-centered healthcare
- Strong communication
skills
- Experience managing
acute and chronic conditions
- A collaborative approach
to working within a multidisciplinary team
- An interest in
preventative health and chronic disease management
- A genuine interest in
Aboriginal health and culturally safe care
