Functional Test Analyst

Job Summary

The Functional Test Analyst will be responsible for planning and executing end-to-end functional testing of one of our major Financial Services client, covering both backend and front-end systems. This role is pivotal in ensuring the Data Virtualization platform and other integrated systems meet our rigorous quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop functional Test Scripts based on business and functional requirements.
• Execute test scripts, analyze results, and manage defects.
• Work in an Agile environment to conduct end-to-end testing of Data Virtualization platforms and Data Warehousing.
• Utilize MF ALM & UFT for manual or automated testing.
• Collaborate with team members to estimate testing efforts and deliver on time.

Qualifications

• IT Diploma/Degree in Software Development or related field.
• 5-8 years of experience in software testing, with a focus on Data Warehousing and Database testing.
• Proficiency in testing tools such as MF ALM/Octane.
• Strong understanding of Agile Testing Methodology and Data Virtualization platforms.
• ISTQB Foundation or Test Analyst certification.
