Overview
We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operator / Warehouse Labourer to join our team at our Yandina facility on the Sunshine Coast. This role combines High Reach / RMD forklift operation with hands-on warehouse labouring duties, including unloading containers, manual handling, organising furniture stock, and maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient warehouse environment.
Location: Yandina, Sunshine Coast
Hours: 6:00am – 2:06pm (38 hours per week), Monday to Friday
Employment Type: Permanent Full Time
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate High Reach / RMD (Crown) forklifts to move, lift, and stack furniture and related materials
- Manoeuvre forklifts in tight warehouse spaces and at elevated heights
- Unload trucks and containers and assist with receiving goods
- Perform manual labouring duties including lifting, moving, and organising furniture stock
- Pick and restock furniture items from designated storage locations
- Arrange items systematically in racks or storage areas to optimise space
- Inspect items for damage before and after transport
- Report damaged stock or inventory discrepancies to supervisors
- Open containers and crates and place inventory in correct areas
- Stack pallets correctly and secure loads to prevent damage
- Assist with inventory management and stock counts
- Maintain a clean, organised, and hazard-free warehouse environment
- Use safe manual handling techniques at all times
- Assist labourers, pickers, and receiving staff as required to support warehouse operations
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience operating High Reach / RMD forklifts
- Valid forklift licence
- Experience in warehouse operations and unloading trucks/containers
- Comfortable performing manual labour and heavy lifting
- Attention to detail and safe stock handling
- Strong safety awareness and ability to follow procedures
- Reliable with a solid work ethic and team-focused attitude
