About the role:
We are seeking reliable and experienced Assemblers to join our cabinetry team at our Head Office/Manufacturing Facility in Yandina on the Sunshine Coast.
In this role, you will assemble bespoke, machine-cut melamine furniture, ensuring high-quality workmanship while meeting production schedules and maintaining strict safety standards.
We are offering full-time, permanent positions, working Monday to Friday. Standard hours are 6:00am – 2:06pm, with a 5:00am start and 12:46pm finish on Fridays. These roles will commence from mid-April, providing a great opportunity to join a fast-paced production environment and gain hands-on experience.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Use hand tools to assemble parts.
- Conduct quality control checks.
- Clean and maintain work area and equipment.
- Verify specifications by measuring components.
- Follow workflows and tasks to meet production targets and deadlines.
- Read and decipher assembly instructions.
- Finished products to meet quality specifications and customer requirements.
- Perform in line with quality assurance standards, WH&S regulations and company policies
Required skills:
- Experience in furniture assembly, cabinetry or a related field advantageous.
- Knowledge of assembly processes, materials, and machinery.
- Experience and confidence in using hand tools
- Problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively interact with team members, supervisors, and other stakeholders.
- Commitment to workplace safety and familiarity with WSH regulations.
- Physically fit, willing, and able to lift.
- Valid driver’s license and own transport to get yourself to work each day
