Best Life Support Services WA is looking for a Team Leader to help lead our frontline disability support team and oversee the delivery of high-quality, person-centred services across our community and ILO supports.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can confidently guide staff, manage rosters, support quality practice, and build strong working relationships with participants, families, and stakeholders.

About the role

As our Team Leader, you will provide day-to-day leadership to Support Workers and Senior Support Workers while helping to coordinate supports for participants receiving community and ILO services.

This role includes:

  • Leading, mentoring and supporting frontline staff
  • Conducting supervision, probation reviews and performance discussions
  • Managing rosters, shift gaps, leave coverage and staff allocations
  • Monitoring service delivery and supporting continuity of care
  • Observing staff practice in the field and providing coaching
  • Reviewing documentation such as case notes, incidents and service records
  • Supporting onboarding for new participants and staff
  • Responding to service delivery issues, feedback and team concerns
  • Working within NDIS Practice Standards, policies and compliance requirements
  • Participating in on-call arrangements as required

About you

You are a practical and supportive leader who can balance people, quality, and operations. You know how to keep things moving while still keeping participants at the centre of your decisions.

You will ideally have:

  • Certificate IV in Disability, Community Services or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong experience in disability, home care or community services
  • Experience in a supervisory, senior support or team leadership role
  • Good knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards and person-centred practice
  • Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving skills
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and respond to day-to-day challenges
  • A current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
