We’re looking for co-residents and host families who are warm, proactive, and genuinely enjoy building friendships. This is about sharing a home and life with someone, not just providing care.
About the role
• Live-in support – you’ll be a housemate, friend, and helping hand
• Rosters:
Weekdays: 7 days/month, Mon–Fri, 4:45pm–8:15am (with daytime hours off)
Weekends: Fri 5pm–Mon 8:15am
Split into 2 blocks across the month
• Perfect for students or those wanting meaningful part-time work
• You’ll be sharing with a friendly, independent client who values connection over constant care
What you’ll be doing
• Being present in the home overnight
• Sharing meals, chats, and everyday life
• Helping with tasks within the home
• Working alongside our support team to keep things running smoothly
What we’re looking for
• Someone approachable and reliable
• Comfortable with overnight stays and weekends
• A team player with a good sense of humour
• Willing to complete NDIS worker screening and relevant checks

What you need to be successful in the role
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
• Completion of the NDIS Supporting Safe and Enjoyable Meals Module
• Completion of the NDIS Supporting Effective Communication Module
• At least 2 years of experience as a Support Worker, Co-resident, or Host Family
• Manual Handling training
• Medication training
• Certificate III or IV in Individual Support (Disabilities)
• Familiarity with NDIS Practice Standards and the NDIS Code of Conduct
