About the role
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with disabilities. Your responsibilities will include assisting clients with daily activities, personal care, mental health support, promoting independence, supporting personal and NDIS goals, and encouraging community participation.
What You’ll Do
• Support people with daily living tasks, personal care, or mental health needs.
• Encourage skills, confidence, and goal progress.
• Support community outings and social activity.
• Follow plans, complete simple documentation, and communicate updates.
• Work in a way that respects choice, dignity, and privacy.
• Work flexibly across teams to support both male and female clients with diverse needs.
What You Bring

• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work on your own and with a team.
• Flexibility and a steady approach during unexpected situations.
• Relevant experience or a willingness to learn.
Required Checks & Training
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• First Aid, medication training and CPR.
• Driver’s licence and reliable transport.
• Working With Children Check (or ability to get one).
