Hiring Duty Managers and Bar Staff – Full and Part time roles
PRIMARY FUNCTION
To help deliver the Behemoth Brewing experience, with a particular focus on our food and beverage offerings.
Ensuring each experience is as rich as the next
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Promote, work, and act in a manner consistent with the mission of Behemoth Brewing
- Delivering all offerings in a timely fashion and to Behemoth Brewing standards.
- Keeping your work area and the greater venue clean and tidy.
- Maintain intimate knowledge of our food and beverage offerings.
- Attend training sessions and FOH or greater Behemoth Brewing meetings.
- Responsible for time keeping and all personal presentation as per Behemoth Brewing policy.
- Act as Host/ Maitre’D when required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complying with The Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012, all amendments, any local alcohol policies.
- Take food and beverage orders, serve orders, answer questions and attend to customer requests.
- Maintain an up-to-date working knowledge of all offerings.
- Maintain and keep clean and operational bar equipment, glassware, restaurant equipment, tables, crockery, cutlery, and utensils.
- Ensure that all property is handled with due care.
- Be fully conversant with establishment standards, operations and services and carry out duties to these standards.
- Deal with customer complaints, queries with authority, or refer to manager on shift.
- Attend to all customer queries and requests courteously and efficiently and to establishment standards.
- Inspect restrooms for cleanliness and availability of supplies and clean restrooms when necessary.
- Ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained.
- Ensure relationship between front of house staff and kitchen staff, is of a high standard.
- Uphold morale and team culture.
- Any other duties the Front of House Manager, General Manager, Operations Manager may reasonably require.
- Maintain set establishment policies and procedures.
- Maintain standards for health & safety at work and food safety throughout the venue.
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES
TECHNICAL
- A minimum of 1 year working in a restaurant or cafe.
- Knowledge of POS systems
- Hold General Manager Certificate (Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act)
- Numeracy skills
