About Beerfarm
Beerfarm was founded in 2015 on a 1940s dairy farm in Metricup, in the Margaret River Region. Once an old dairy farm, we converted the hay shed into a tavern, built a brewery in the roundhouse and created a name for both a destination and a brewery that would serve straight-up beer and food. Australian-owned and stridently independent, we’re built on grit, determination and the desire to do better. We are more than just a purveyor of high-quality beer and cider. Our unique taphouse in Metricup, WA, has become a go-to spot for both locals and travellers, serving ‘paddock to plate’ food experiences, and of course, great beer and good times. Plus, our new, cutting-edge production facility in Perth will be a game changer for the brand, as more fans discover our beers, ciders and more! In essence, we are a farm, a brewery, a hospitality venue. About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Venue Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our Metricup venue. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in high-volume hospitality, loves building strong teams and knows how to balance guest experience with commercial performance. You’ll lead from the front, own the venue’s success, and play a key role in bringing to life events, culture and realising growth. You will:
- Lead day-to-day venue operations, delivering an exceptional Beerfarm guest experience;
- Drive revenue, profitability, and cost control against agreed KPIs;
- Plan and deliver events at the Metricup venue in collaboration with the Head of Hospitality;
- Lead, coach, and develop FOH and Events teams, building engagement and retention;
- Ensure high standards across service, product knowledge, compliance and presentation;
- Manage budgets, reporting, POS, stock control, and inventory;
- Maintain strong relationships with internal teams, regulators, and local stakeholders;
- Identify opportunities to improve operations, grow revenue, and enhance guest experience.
About You
Having come from all walks of life and different corners of the world… some from beer, some from good times and some simply from our parents, we are unified in the belief of doing things differently, doing things right. If you’re the right person to join us, you will have at least 3 years prior experience in a Management role within a fast paced, high volume environment where you’ve used your good time management skills, excellent leadership and the ability to work under pressure. You’ll also:

- Demonstrate strong commercial mindset with a clear understanding of hospitality KPIs and be a WA Approved Manager;
- Be a confident people leader who builds positive, high-performing teams;

- Have a hands-on, multi-skilled approach with willingness to support all areas of venue operations
We are looking for someone who is an Aussie Permanent Resident or Citizen as 482/494 sponsorship is off the menu at the moment. However you can be a local, or be ready to relocate to one of the most beautiful places to live in Australia (we know, we’re biased!). Most importantly, you’ll be a bloody good person and an ambassador of the brand who deserves to join this exceptional team.
