About the
role
We have a fantastic
opportunity for an experienced Career Property Paralegal to join our high
performing, friendly and innovative Property & Planning team which services
a broad mix of clients.
This role will offer the
successful candidate an excellent opportunity for career development with
direct mentoring from the Partners in the team. You will work with a dynamic
and supportive team at a firm that offers structured career progression.
This role is intended for a career legal support
professional who can work 3–5 days per week. As such, we are not accepting
applications from law students for this position. Law students are encouraged
to consider our Paralegal or Law Clerk roles, which are better aligned with
their studies.
While this role is based in our Sydney CBD
office, at Bartier Perry we all have the opportunity to work flexibly and

Our
ideal candidate will possess:
- Experience working in residential and
commercial property transactions
- Ability to carry a matter from
initial instructions to settlement
- Liaising with clients, estate agents,
financiers, solicitors, conveyancers and mortgagees
- Preparing, reviewing and drafting
contracts of sale and leases
- Calculating settlement adjustments
and attending to settlements including pre and post settlement work
- Liaising with parties to arrange for
execution and registration of leases and lease related transactions
- PEXA experience is essential
- Client focused, and results driven
- Excellent phone manner, communication
skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work as a part of a team.
You will ideally have a minimum of 5 years’
experience in property related roles.
