About the role
We have a fantastic opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic Legal Assistant to join our high-performing Commercial Disputes team. This is a full-time permanent role with flexibility for those who may need it.
This role is best suited to a professional looking to build a career in legal support.
Law students are encouraged to consider our
Paralegal or Law Clerk roles, which are better aligned with their studies.
You will work closely with respected partners and legal professionals who advise a diverse client base, including SMEs, high-net-worth individuals, local councils and government entities.
In this role, you will provide comprehensive and proactive support to the team, playing a vital role in its success. You will support a high performing, yet down-to-earth team who are known to work hard but have fun along the way.

Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to Partners, Lawyers and Senior Legal Assistants
- Manage calendars, coordinate external and internal meetings and assist with client communication
- Open and close files and manage client data within our CRM software
- Screen incoming calls, emails and correspondence
- Draft, proofread, file and organise legal documents, letters and case exhibits
- Compile evidence and preparing files and materials for trials and hearings
- Support monthly billing processes
- Assisting with client inquiries and accounts administration
About you
Our ideal candidate will possess:
- 2-3 year minimum years’ experience in a Legal Assistant role or similar administrative role, with an interest in Commercial Disputes and Building & Construction Litigation Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management and organisational ability
- A team player mindset with a positive, professional attitude
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Confidence with using with Adobe Pro and Microsoft Office
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and remain composed under pressure
- Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to show initiative
- Familiarity with NSW Court systems and online registry (advantageous but not essential).
