Overnight Hotel Attendant

Balgownie Estate is the ultimate luxury destination in the heart of the Yarra Valley, offering accommodation, dining, and event experiences. We are seeking two reliable and dedicated Overnight Hotel Attendant to join our night shift team. This role requires working alone overnight to ensure the property remains clean, safe, and welcoming, helping create a comfortable and memorable experience for every guest.

THE ROLE:

• Performing thorough cleaning and maintenance of all public areas.
• Completing regular security walks of the property during overnight hours to maintain the safety and security of guests and the premises.
• Assisting with guest services, providing friendly support to guests and handling guest enquiries during overnight shift.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, ensuring accurate financial records, complete banking, and prepare reports for next-day operations.
• Assist with voucher processing and handle cash in line with company policies and reporting standards.

ABOUT YOU:

• Previous roles in hospitality, administration, accounting, or customer service preferred.
• Experience with hotel management system desired.
• Valid Food Safety certificate and RSA
• First Aid and CPR accredited.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Excellent personal presentation, communication, and time management skills are essential.
• Current police check.
• Capacity to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.

Applicants must have full permanent working rights in Australia with no restrictions and weekend availability. No public transport is available to our location – you must have your own transport.
