Shift Pattern: 07:00-21:00, 10:00-17:00, working (Alternate weekends)

About the role
John is a 19 year old man with a diagnosis of PTEN, Chiari malformation, cortical dysplasia, macrocephaly, autism, complex speech and language difficulties, profound learning disabilities, epilepsy, and Type 1 insulin dependent diabetes.
John is a very relaxed individual who enjoys company of his support workers is very tactile in nature and likes to watch his favourite TV shows, going out on lovely walks in the fresh air and enjoying the peace and quiet of the countryside. He can be startled by loud noises and needs Team Members who will reassure him. he is non-verbal but enjoys interaction with his team members, who communicate with him in a way that is supportive of his needs.
He is looking for Team Members who will keep him company at home, support him to bake and cook and spending time in the garden with him. He has his own accessible vehicle which staff will use to take him out in the community and for lovely long walks.

PBS4 is a values led social care organisation, providing Neurodisability Services to individuals with Learning Disabilities, Autism and/or behaviours that may challenge. We support people living in their own homes, with their own tenancies, and we utilise Positive Behaviour Support as the framework for the support we provide.
