Now, we’re looking for an experienced Senior Service or Project Technician with 5+ years in the electronic security industry to join our team in Sydney.

As a Senior Project Technician, you will:
- Take the lead on installing and commissioning high-end security systems, including CCTV, access control, and intruder alarms
- Interpret and work from technical drawings, schematics, and project documentation to deliver installations to specification
- Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and site stakeholders to ensure seamless project delivery
- Maintain a strong focus on safety, compliance, and quality at every stage of the installation
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges during project delivery, ensuring deadlines and standards are met
- Provide clear communication and progress updates to the Project Manager and broader team
- Mentor and support junior technicians on-site, sharing knowledge and upholding JD Security’s standards of professionalism
Skills & Qualifications:
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Current Security Industry Licence – 2BC
- WorkCover OH&S General Induction Card
- Cabling Licence
- Proven proficiency in installing and servicing large-scale alarm, access control, and IP CCTV systems
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach
