The Roles

We are currently hiring for two positions based in Adelaide (Tonsley office) or Melbourne (Ringwood or Collins Street offices). Depending on your experience, opportunities are available at both Systems Engineer and Project Engineer levels.

 

These roles offer an exciting opportunity for experienced SCADA and Project Engineers to join our growing Projects team, contributing to the design, delivery, and commissioning of complex energy and control system solutions. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality outcomes across a diverse range of industrial and energy projects.

 

Key Responsibilities Systems Engineer (SCADA): 

  • Design, develop, and commission Energy Management Systems (EMS) and Power Monitoring& Control Systems (PMCS) using SCADA, PLCs, and RTUs.
  • Design electrical systems and produce accurate construction and as-built drawings using AutoCAD or similar tools.
  • Integrate systems with hardware (meters, HMIs, gateways) and cloud platforms using IoT protocols and APIs.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure performance and compliance.
  • Support onsite installation, commissioning, data management, and ongoing system optimisation.

Key Responsibilities Project Engineer: 

  • Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ensure projects meet technical specifications, customer requirements, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Oversee onsite installation, commissioning, and operational support of control and energy systems.

Qualifications & Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Computer Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).
  • Strong knowledge of Energy Management Systems (EMS), PLC/SCADA control systems, and electrical design principles.
  • Experience with PLCs, HMIs, power meters, and communication protocols (e.g. Modbus, BACnet).
  • Demonstrated ability to install, commission, test, and troubleshoot electrical and control systems.
  • Applications for Project Engineers will only be considered with 3+ years’ experience as a Project Engineer or Project Manager in the energy, electrical, automation, or systems integration industries.

Further Details

This role may require occasional work outside of standard business hours to provide support to our global customer base, including US-based customers.
