Description

The opportunity

Ready to step into a strategic HR role where you can truly own outcomes — not just support them?

At aXcelerate, we’re looking for a high-performing Human Success Advisor to lead HR operations, employee relations, and compliance while partnering directly with our Head of Human Success.

This is a hands-on, high-impact opportunity where you’ll work closely with leaders and employees across the business to deliver practical, timely, and high-quality people support. You’ll also play a key role in shaping scalable, modern People & Culture practices — including exploring innovative ways to leverage AI and automation to work smarter.

If you thrive in a fast-paced SaaS environment, enjoy solving complex people challenges, and want to influence the evolution of People & Culture in a growing tech company, this could be your next move.

About us

aXcelerate is a leading SaaS provider, powering millions of learners across Australia through our Student and Learning Management System.

We’re on an exciting growth journey and have been recognised as a Great Place to Work for three consecutive years. Our culture is built on trust, collaboration and continuous improvement, where people are supported to do their best work and grow their careers.

What you’ll be doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Human Success, you’ll sit at the centre of our HR operations, owning the end-to-end delivery of employee lifecycle processes, employee and industrial relations matters, and compliance activities.

This is a true HR generalist role with a strong operational focus, so you’ll need to be comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things done. From managing complex employee relations cases to streamlining systems and introducing AI-driven efficiencies, you’ll play a critical role in how People & Culture operates, evolves, and scales at aXcelerate.

  • Own and optimise HR operations across the full employee lifecycle
  • Lead Employee Relations matters end-to-end (performance, investigations, grievances, RTW)
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, policies and best practice
  • Partner with leaders to provide clear, practical and commercially sound HR advice
  • Drive process improvement, including implementing AI tools and automation
  • Support remuneration processes including salary reviews and benchmarking
  • Deliver seamless onboarding experiences and support structured, compliant hiring
  • Support performance processes and ensure consistency across the business
  • Contribute to engagement, culture and continuous improvement initiatives

About you

You are highly organised and detail-oriented, with experience managing HR administration, compliance requirements, reporting, and documentation with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. At the same time, you enjoy identifying opportunities to improve systems, streamline processes, and contribute to initiatives that enhance the employee and leader experience.

  • Proven and secure experience in a hands-on HR generalist or HR operations role
  • Strong experience in HR operations and Employee Relations (you’ve handled complex cases)
  • Solid understanding of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Experience working with HR systems (HRIS, ATS, LMS)
  • Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence and support stakeholders at all levels
  • Experience using (or strong interest in learning) AI tools to improve efficiency and workflows
  • Data literacy with the ability to analyse and present insights
  • Tertiary qualification in HR or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Alignment with aXcelerate’s HEART values: Honesty, Empathy, Acceptance, Respect and Trust

Previous industry experience in Tech or SaaS will be highly regarded.
