Production Draftsperson

At AVIA, production drafting isn’t a back‑office function. It’s critical to how our homes are built. We’re looking for a Production Draftsperson who understands the real impact drawings have once they hit site.

This role is about getting it right, owning your work and supporting construction with documentation that’s clear, consistent and build‑ready.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Produce accurate construction documentation for contracted residential homes
• Apply AVIA standard plans, details and selected finishes consistently
• Review and document client variations and contract changes accurately
• Prepare site plans, floor plans, elevations, sections and compliance drawings
• Review offshore drafting team drawings for compliance with AVIA requirements
• Ensure documentation meets NCC, Australian Standards and AVIA requirements
• Coordinate updates, manage revisions/version control and support internal/site teams with reliable documentation

What You Bring

• 2+ years’ Production Drafting experience
• Strong understanding of residential construction and build processes
• High proficiency in Revit within a production environment
• A drafting or building design qualification
• Ownership mindset with sharp attention to detail and consistency
