Summary:

The Manager Early Years Inclusion provides strategic leadership across Early Years Inclusion services, including specialist consultancy and therapy oversight. The role ensures high‑quality, evidence‑informed, and inclusive supports for young children, families, and early learning settings. The Manager oversees service quality and delivery and will ensure staff deliver effective consultation and inclusive practice across early childhood settings. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that promote inclusivity and collaboration among staff, families, and the community, thereby enhancing the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement and lead inclusive early years services for children, families and educators that are tailored to their individual needs and goals.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion strategies and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training and support to staff on best practices for early years, inclusion and diversity.
  • Champion and support inclusive practices in early years spaces for all children with additional support requirements.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inclusion services and outcomes.
  • Engage with the local community to promote awareness and understanding of early years inclusion services.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in early years education, particularly in inclusive settings.
  • Strong understanding of child development and the principles of inclusive education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, families, and staff.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead initiatives.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in inclusion.
