Manager Early Years Inclusion

Summary:

The Manager Early Years Inclusion plays a pivotal role in fostering an inclusive educational environment for young learners. This position is essential for ensuring that all children, regardless of their backgrounds or abilities, receive the support they need to thrive in their early years. The successful candidate will lead initiatives that promote inclusivity and collaboration among staff, families, and the community, thereby enhancing the overall educational experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and lead inclusive early years services for children, families and educators that are tailored to their individual needs and goals. 
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and external agencies to create inclusive learning environments.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of inclusion strategies and make necessary adjustments.
• Provide training and support to staff on best practices for early years, inclusion and diversity.
• Champion and support inclusive practices in early years spaces for all children with additional support requirements.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to inclusion services and outcomes.
• Engage with the local community to promote awareness and understanding of early years inclusion services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, Speech Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Psychology or similar.
• Proven experience in managing early years programmes with a focus on inclusion.
• Strong understanding of child development and inclusive education practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with best practices in early years education.
