The Opportunity
Austroads is seeking a capable and highly organised Paralegal to support its in-house legal function within the Corporate Services group.
Working closely with the General Counsel and Legal Counsel, this role plays a critical part in the effective administration of contracts, tenders and governance processes, helping to manage legal, contractual and compliance risk across the organisation. It is well suited to an experienced paralegal or legal administrator who thrives in a professional, in-house environment and understands the importance of precision, process and confidentiality.
This role provides legal support only and does not involve the provision of legal advice.
Key Responsibilities
This role will involve:
• Administering the tendering and contract lifecycle process, including preparation, execution, variation and filing
• Maintaining contract, compliance and matter registers with a high degree of accuracy and integrity
• Supporting procurement and business teams to ensure consistency with internal governance and legal processes
• Preparing, formatting and managing legal documents, templates and precedents
• Supporting privacy, data governance and other compliance documentation and registers
• Assisting with vendor due diligence and third party risk processes (non-advisory)
• Coordinating inputs and supporting reporting to governance forums

About You
You will bring:
• Demonstrated experience in a paralegal, contract administration or legal support role (in-house or professional services environment preferred)
• Strong capability in managing legal documentation, registers and structured processes
• Familiarity with tendering, procurement or contract lifecycle management
• Excellent written communication skills and attention to detail
• Sound judgement and a clear understanding of professional role boundaries
• A collaborative, calm and proactive working style
Formal qualifications are not essential.
