ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture, this role plays a critical part in ensuring the delivery of accurate, compliant payroll while partnering across the business to support a positive employee experience.

Sitting within the People & Culture team, you’ll work closely with Finance, leaders, and employees across the organisation to provide expert payroll guidance and broader HR support.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Processing payroll for up to 500 + employees across 5 countries (weekly, fortnightly, monthly)
  • Keeping up to date with all payroll legislative and compliance requirements
  • Managing all payroll queries globally
  • Calculate and process all statutory payments like payroll tax, superannuation/pensions, worker compensation
  • Produce monthly and yearly reports
  • In conjunction with P&C team review awards and monitor wages to ensure compliance
  • Train payroll backup on end-to-end function
  • Assist in the management of workers compensation claims
  • Assist with the creation of employment contracts and letters as required

ABOUT YOU

You’re an experienced payroll professional who enjoys partnering with stakeholders and takes pride in delivering both accuracy and service excellence.

You will bring:

  • 6+ years’ experience in end-to-end payroll (multi-country exposure highly regarded)
  • Strong knowledge of payroll legislation and compliance requirements
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Experience with Employment Hero (preferred)
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
  • A collaborative approach and willingness to contribute to broader People & Culture initiatives
