Support the delivery of national projects that build a skilled, future-ready workforce
Drive progress in two of Australia’s most vital industries.
About the Role
As a Project Coordinator (PMO), you’ll be at the heart of AUSMASA’s national reform projects, helping to turn big ideas into real, measurable outcomes. This is the perfect role for someone who loves structure, clarity, and collaboration, someone who takes pride in keeping projects on track, connecting people and processes, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks.
Your work will directly contribute to building a stronger, more responsive workforce for Australia’s mining and automotive industries, helping ensure training stays relevant, future-focused, and trusted by industry.
This is a fixed term contract opportunity until June 2028
What You’ll do

- Maintain project plans, registers, documents, and reporting systems with accuracy and attention to detail
- Support compliance and quality checks against the Training Product Organising Framework (TPOF) and internal assurance processes
- Assist with the preparation of project submissions, status updates, dashboards, and governance materials
- Support risk monitoring, issue tracking, and action follow-up to keep projects moving and aligned
- Coordinate logistics for meetings, workshops, and committees, ensuring decisions and actions are clearly captured and communicated
- Contribute to continuous improvement across PMO systems, templates, and ways of working
