  • Support marketing and communications activities that promote events and organisational initiatives
  • Develop event-related content and materials that are clear, engaging and on brand
  • Manage timelines, budgets and competing priorities to ensure smooth delivery
  • Capture feedback and insights to support continuous improvement of future events and activities
  • Maintain accurate records, systems and documentation to support reporting and planning

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confidence engaging diverse stakeholders
  • Experience supporting marketing or communications activities alongside events delivery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Canva or Adobe Creative Suite, and event platforms such as Eventbrite and Mailchimp
  • A collaborative, adaptable approach and a willingness to pitch in where needed
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while contributing positively to team culture

  • Experience working in a not-for-profit or government-funded organisation.
  • Knowledge of the Australian mining and automotive sectors.
  • Understanding of Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) system.
  • Experience in digital analytics, content scheduling, or CRM systems.
