ABOUT THE ROLE – Cheltenham, VIC | Full Time | Ongoing
We’re looking for a driven and commercially
minded Partnership Development Manager to join our Commercial team and play a
key role in generating new revenue opportunities for Australian Golf.
Working closely with the Senior Manager,
Business Development and the broader commercial team, this role will focus on
identifying, developing, and securing strategic partnerships that support the
continued growth of golf across Australia.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone
who thrives on building relationships, creating value for partners, and driving
commercial outcomes within a national sporting organisation.
Your impact:
Partnership Development & Revenue Growth
- Identifying and securing new partnership opportunities
across Australian Golf properties, programs and events.

Developing tailored commercial partnership proposals
and presentations that align brand objectives with the growth of golf in
Australia.

Building strong relationships with corporate partners,
brands and agencies to create long-term commercial opportunities.

Supporting the delivery of new revenue streams across the
PGA of Australia and Golf Australia.
Strategic Commercial Engagement
- Working collaboratively with internal teams including
marketing, events, public affairs and participation to develop integrated
partnership opportunities.

Supporting the commercial team to bring innovative
partnership concepts to market across events, programs and national
initiatives.

Representing Australian Golf in discussions with
potential sponsors, partners and industry stakeholders.
Sales Pipeline & Account Development

Building and managing a strong pipeline of commercial
opportunities to deliver sustainable revenue growth.

Conducting research and market analysis to identify
new industries, brands and partnership opportunities.

Preparing proposals, commercial documentation and
presentations to support partnership negotiations.
You’ll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in partnership sales, business
development or commercial roles, ideally within sport, events, media or brand
partnerships.

Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to
engage confidently with senior stakeholders and corporate partners.

Proven ability to identify commercial opportunities
and convert them into revenue-generating partnerships.

Strong presentation, negotiation and communication
skills.

A proactive, results-driven approach with the ability
to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

Confidence using Canva, Microsoft Office and CRM
systems to manage pipeline and reporting.

A passion for sport, partnerships and creating
meaningful brand experiences.
Willingness and
availability to travel regularly and work extended and non-traditional hours,
including time on-site at tournaments and events across metropolitan and
regional Australia.
