Australian Golf is growing – and so are we.
At Golf Australia, our purpose is simple:
more Australians playing more golf.
We believe that all golf is golf, and all
of us can be golfers. Whether you’re
swinging a club at a driving range, playing nine holes with friends, putting at
mini golf with family, or dreaming of the Australian Open. We’re here to make
sure golf is fun, welcoming, and accessible for all; and that starts with how
we show up as a team.
We’re proud to be part of Australian Golf’s
transformation, a time of unprecedented growth, innovation, and opportunity. As
our game evolves, so too does our workplace. Through it all, our values shape
how we show up, collaborate, and lead:
-
We Welcome Everyone – Inclusion is at the heart of who
we are. We’re creating a workplace where people from all backgrounds feel they
truly belong.
-
We Are Connected – We work as one team, supporting
each other across clubs, communities, and partners to grow the game, and each
other.
-
We Are Courageous – We’re not afraid to do things
differently. We challenge the status quo, embrace change, and reimagine what’s
possible.
-
We Bring Our Best – Whether we’re delivering a major
championship or helping a local club thrive, we bring care, pride, and purpose
to everything we do.
We
work alongside key industry partners like the PGA of Australia and the WPGA
Tour of Australasia to support player pathways, from local clubs through to
elite competition. We champion places to play, events at every level, and a
high-performance program that helps emerging talent thrive.
At every step, we’re driven by the belief
that golf is a sport for life and there’s a place in it for everyone

Golf, like many sports, hasn’t always felt like a space where everyone sees
themselves, and we know that women and other underrepresented groups often
hesitate to apply unless they meet every single requirement. But at Golf
Australia, we’re committed to changing that.
At Golf Australia, our
belief is simple: “All golf is golf, and all of us can be golfers.” That
philosophy extends to our team too. We’re building an organisation where
diverse voices, backgrounds and perspectives are truly welcomed and where
people can bring their whole selves to the work we do.
That commitment to inclusion
also means creating safe, respectful and supportive spaces. We are dedicated to
providing a safe environment for all employees and participants – including children and young people – and we expect everyone involved in delivering
golf in Australia to understand their responsibilities when it comes to child
safety.
So, if this role excites
you, and you feel you could contribute even if you don’t tick every box, we’d
love to hear from you. Let’s have a conversation. You might be just what we’re
looking for.
