Our Child Care Team are currently looking for an Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our Brisbane Central campus. This role is vital for fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. The ideal candidate will play a key role in shaping the educational experiences of children, ensuring their holistic development and preparing them for future learning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate educational programmes for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages exploration and creativity.
  • Assess and monitor children’s development and progress, providing feedback to parents and caregivers.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and families to support children’s individual needs and learning goals.
  • Maintain accurate records of children’s progress and development in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay updated with early childhood education trends.
  • Promote positive behaviour and social skills among children, fostering a sense of community and respect.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.
  • At least 2 years of experience working in early childhood education settings.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and early learning frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, families, and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • First Aid and CPR certification, along with a Working with Children Check.
