Project Administrator
With a strong pipeline of projects in the Dubbo/Wellington area of NSW we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Project Administrator to oversee the day-to-day operations of our site. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the site leadership team in managing site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and maintaining accurate records. The Project Administrator will work closely with other corporate departments to ensure that all site operations run smoothly and efficiently. Initially starting prior to Christmas based at home the role will move into the site office at Uungula Wind Farm when our section of the project starts in mid to late January. The role will be full time and have construction hours that can be negotiated with the successful applicant.
Responsibilities:
- Manage site activities, including scheduling, inventory management, and maintenance
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
- Coordination of the mobilisation of the construction just teams including accommodation and flights, certifications and training
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, including inventory, maintenance, and safety inspections
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure that all site operations run smoothly and efficiently
- Administer site budget updates, expenses & purchasing requests
- Administer site daily time sheeting updates
- Develop and implement site policies and procedure
- Preparation of claims
- Preparation of invoices based on claims
- Assist with end of month reporting
- Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies
Qualifications:
- Cert IV or higher in business administration, or a related field
- 3+ years of experience in office administration, preferably in a construction environment
- Strong organisational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to problem solve and a ‘can do’ attitude
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel & Word)
- Knowledge of other relevant software such as Procore, Employment Hero, SharePoint & ApprovalMax
