About the role

Tenure: Full-time, fixed term to 30 April 2027

Location: Melbourne, CBD (Hybrid)

RANZCP has received Australian Government funding for the following initiatives:

  • Specialist Training Program (STP)
  • Military and Veterans’ Psychiatry Training Program (MVPTP)
  • Psychiatry Workforce Program (PWP)
  • Flexible Approach to Training in Expanded Settings (FATES)

This role is responsible for administering contracts, reporting and payments for secondary funding agreements with health services, in line with contractual schedules and program requirements.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Manage College-administered secondary funding agreements in partnership with the Contracts Manager
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with health services, providing advice on contractual and program requirements
  • Coordinate reporting across health services, including templates, guidance, receipt and processing of documentation
  • Coordinate reports and invoices for internal approval and payment
  • Administer the Private Infrastructure and Clinical Supervision (PICS) allowance
  • Administer the Rural Sector Loading allowance, including reporting, documentation and payment coordination

What you’ll bring

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in contracts, commerce or equivalent experience
  • Strong capability with MS Office and database systems
  • Clear, confident written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder negotiation
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines
  • Experience liaising with government bodies and health services
  • Proven experience in contract administration and reporting
  • Demonstrated financial reporting capability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Australian or New Zealand citizenship, or valid Australian work rights
