About the Role
We’re looking for a Consultant or Senior Consultant – Social Performance to join our growing team and play a key role in shaping the future of renewable energy projects across Australia.
This is a new position within our expanding Social Performance Team, offering the chance to help build and influence the direction of the team from the ground up. You’ll have the opportunity to work across the full spectrum of Social Impact Assessment, regardless of your level, and contribute meaningfully to projects that deliver real community and benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct Social Impact Assessments, including:
- Scoping SIAs
- Developing social baselines
- Assessing social impacts and identifying mitigation measures
- Engaging with communities and key stakeholders (travel required)
Prepare high quality reporting and documentation, such as:
- Social Impact Assessment Reports
- Social Impact Management Plans
- Community and Stakeholder Engagement Plans
- Collaborate closely with the Social Performance Team and other disciplinary teams within Attexo to deliver integrated project outcomes.
- Support clients with community and stakeholder engagement activities across a range of renewable energy and infrastructure projects.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Tertiary qualifications, preferably in social sciences or a related discipline.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Demonstrated experience in Social Performance or Social Impact Assessment, with the level of experience flexible depending on whether you join as a Consultant or Senior Consultant.
- Experience in sectors such as Infrastructure, Resources or Renewables (desirable). Prior project experience in consulting or client side roles is also desirable.
- A collaborative, supportive, and curious mindset, with strong attention to detail and a focus on delivering high quality outcomes.
- For Senior Consultant applicants, previous consulting or client facing project experience is preferred.
