Summary:

ABH is seeking dedicated Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme Coordinator to deliver high quality and outcome focused aged care program. The role is a hybrid of office /home based. Part of the role is visiting community based clients and aged care facilities.

The Role:

The Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme Coordinator is responsible for coordination of Commonwealth funded aged care program managed by Ashfield Baptist Homes.

It is a semi-autonomous role where you will be:

  • Recruiting and onboarding volunteers
  • Managing client referrals and matching with volunteers
  • Responsible for meeting program funding targets
  • Managing documentation and submitting required reports within specified timeframes
  • Meeting with aged care providers and community organisations to build referral pathways
  • Meeting with clients in the community and establishing positive relationships

 

You must be:

  • Highly organised with attention to detail
  • Confident managing compliance within aged care legislation
  • Experienced in community or coordination of services
  • Compassionate about working with older persons
  • Happy to meet people and promote the program
  • Willing to travel within the Sydney metro region

Essential

  • Current NSW drivers licence
  • Have or be willing to obtain a police check
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident
