ARMA Group is seeking a highly motivated Legal Administrator to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining the critical portfolios of our Commercial, Insurance, and Consumer Recoveries teams.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have strong written and verbal communication skills, including emotional intelligence and the ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You should be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Knowledge of debt collection and recovery litigation processes, will also be highly advantageous.

👇 What You’ll Be Doing:
• Maintain collaborative relationship with legal partner and identify opportunities to increase referrals to strengthen ARMA position and strategic alignment.
• Reviewing matters in collexus for potential legal action and providing a background to the matter.
• Liasing with account managers and paralegals on the history of the matter.
• Requesting documents from the client where appropriate on matters.
• Conducting due diligence searches on customers to ascertain their capacity to pay the debt.
• Drafting preliminary advice to clients with the supervision of Paralegals and/or the Legal Recoveries Manager.
• Updating Statement of Claim amount once we receive it back from legal partner ensuring all details are correct including plaintiff, defendant, amount, debtor service address, costs, and interest.
• Updating judgment amounts in Collexus once we receive it back from court ensuring all figures and parties are accurate and interest are charged accordingly.
• Ensure searches and any admin fees as well as legal costs for relevant states are charged correctly.
💡 What You’ll Need:
• Experience as an Administrator or in Legal Education.
• Debt collection process knowledge.
• Understanding of debt recovery litigation processes.
• Proficient in MS Office and a quick learner of database platforms
• Accurate keyboard skills and proven ability to enter data at the required speed.
• Knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
• Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
• Developed written and verbal communication skills with the ability to demonstrate emotional intelligence, specifically in displaying respect and empathy.
• Proactive approach to developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• High level of attention to detail

• Strong time management skills and multi-tasking skills
