Warehousing Steel Coil

Apex Steel is seeking a motivated and multi-talented worker to join our team in Dandenong South! You will be responsible for unloading steel coils upon delivery and organising our stock in the coil bay.

MUST HAVE Forklift License 

Responsibilities

• Loading/unloading trucks
• Opening coils / removing packaging
• Organizing the coils in a safe and efficient manner
• Booking in steel coils using a computer or scanner
• Operating C-hook crane and forklifts to move steel coils
• General Factory/warehouse duties
• Ensure work area is maintained in a clean and safe manner

Skills & experience

• MUST HAVE Forklift License and confidence in operating a 5t forklift
• Experience in operating a 12t forklift would be preferred
• Strong communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work well as part of a team and working independently
• Steel handling experience is desirable

Conditions & Benefits

• Full-time permanent position
• Afternoon shift starting at 2pm
• Monday to Friday, 38 hours per week, overtime available
