Job Summary:

We are seeking a part-time Support Worker to join our team in Kowanyama, Queensland. The successful candidate will provide support to job seekers in their search for employment opportunities. This role is entry-level and ideal for individuals looking to gain experience in the field of social services.

Responsibilities:

– Assist job seekers with resume writing, job applications, and interview preparation

– Provide guidance on career development and training opportunities

– Conduct assessments of job seekers’ needs and goals

– Collaborate with other support workers and agencies to provide comprehensive services

to clients

Qualifications:

– High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field preferred)

– Previous experience working with vulnerable populations is an asset
