Summary:

Join our dedicated team as a Disability Support Worker, providing essential support and assistance to individuals with disabilities. This role involves helping clients achieve their personal goals and enhancing their quality of life. Ideal for compassionate individuals looking to make a positive impact in the community.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
Support clients in achieving their personal goals and promoting independence.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, their families, and other support staff.
Document client progress and report any changes in behaviour or health to the appropriate professionals.
Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge in disability support.

Qualifications:

Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in disability support.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient attitude towards individuals with disabilities.
